Last Jan. 29, Fraser students were very fortunate to hear a performance by alumnus David Beckingham. David graduated from Fraser Academy in 2002 and has gone on to a busy and artistically acclaimed musical career with his band “Hey Ocean!” David played guitar and sang th ree beautiful songs of his own composition.

Fraser students received his performance with great interest and many found inspiration and encouragement in his work.

Prior to David’s performance, we also heard excellent work from current students Patrick Heywood, Matthew de Visser and Brody Nicholl. Brody (grade 6) sang Yesterday, and Patrick and Matthew (both grade 12) sang Seaside.
